Quote

Today we had to choose a quote we liked.
I choose: Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.
The quote is written by Oscar Wilde. He was a dramatist, novelist and poet and lived from 1854-1900.
I think it was a very good quote that says very much. I liked the meaning, and i agree that it is nothing that annoy your enemies more than forgive them. I like small and meaningful quotes and think it is nice remind yourself  some quotes when you do not know what to do.

Road trip in the UK

Car:
This is the car we drove!

We chose to drive car around in the UK. We though this was the easiest way to came around whenever we wanted to. Therefore we rang to a place where we could rent a car before we went off the Cardiff. We said that we wanted a Audi Q7 with automatically provides. That was quite OK. We chose this car because we think its a nice car with a lot of space.

Here are a picture of our route on the trip we had to the UK.

Cardiff:
The plain finally arrived Cardiff Airport at 10

a.m. after a four hours long flight. The weather was better than expected, the sunshine and it was not a cloud on the sky. It was a perfect day to visit one of Wales`s most important and beautiful parks, Roath Park. When we planned the trip at home, we read a lot about it, and it seemed like a place we had to visit. The park opened in 1894, and has a wild range of habitats and animals. One part of the park was used as sports fields where you could play baseball, rugby and tennis. When we walked along the lake, birds where twittering and oranges leaves were falling from the threes. It was so beautiful and relaxing being there in the autumn.
After some hours in Roath Park, we drove 15
minutes back to the hotel where we ate some food and went to bed.
Next morning we only managed to eat breakfast
before we got in the car, and drove towards Stonehenge.

Stonehenge:
On our second day of the tour, we drove from Cardiff to Stonehenge. There we had a stop to see the famous attraction Stonehenge. The weather wasn’t at our side but we had a great time visiting this famous monument. Stonehenge is a historical monument about 13 km. North West from Salisbury in Wiltshire. This monument was truly build 2000 years before Christ. The monument is one of the world’s most famous buildings. The name come from the old English word Stanhengist that means the hanging stones.

Here is a picture of us in the front of Stonehenge.

London:

We planned to spend two days in London, one only for shopping
in oxford street, and one day to look at the attractions. When we finally arrived
London the second day of our trip, it was late afternoon. It was difficult to
find the hotel, we used more than 15 minutes searching for it. The hotel room
was exclusive with a big bathroom and two big beds. This afternoon we only had
time for dinner, and we decided to watch the musical "Grease".
We woke up early next day. None of us had ever been to London
before. It was so exiting to walk down the streets. We chose to visit some of
London`s most famous attractions by ourselves, not with a guide. First we
walked all the way from our hotel to Madame Tussaud, which is a museum full of
dolls made of wax. The dolls are famous people from all over the world, and the
museum are divided into different parts such as: sport, film, royals, music,
world leaders, super heroes and so on. We liked the part with the team music
best. That was because the place was where we knew most of the people.
Couples of hours later we walk from Madame Tussaud to the
next attraction, which was the Buckingham Palace. The Buckingham Palace was originally
built in 1705 for the Duke of Buckingham, but today the palace is used as
ceremonial and official occasions for the Royal Family. We only saw the
ceremony called Guard Mounting in front of the palace. The ceremony involve a
new guard exchanging duty with the old guard. It was fun watching how fast they
did it.
Red double decker buses and cabs drove past us down the
street all the time, so we thought that when we finally were in London we had
to take a trip with the double decker bus to see the London Eye and the Big Ben.
The rest of the evening, we spent on the hotel room and we
went to bed early.
Day number 4. was used to shopping in oxford street. Shops
like Victoria Secret, Primark and Zara were shops that we didn’t have in Norway
so we had to visit them. That day we used A LOT of money.

Liverpool:
The fifth day we drove from London to Liverpool. We started to drive from London at 11 a.m. We drove for two and a half hour to Birmingham where we stopped to eat. Here we ate some fish and chips. When we was finish, we sat into the car and started to drive in the direction Liverpool.  When we arrived Liverpool after 2 hours we checked in at the hotel "The Nadler Liverpool". We spend the night looking around in the town and eat. When we woke up the next day we went down to eat some breakfast before we went out shopping. When it went afternoon we went back to the hotel to do ready for the football match and conducted tour at Anfield. Liverpool was going to play against Swansea.
The football match was amazing, Liverpool won 4-3, and the conducted tour was so cool. After a long night with football, we went back to the hotel to get some sleep before we were going to fly back to Norway the next morning. Day 6 started early at 6 a.m. We stand up and eat some breakfast before we drove to the airport and delivered the car and took the plain home.

Task 1.

My dearest sister Nanzeen!

How are you? I really hope you are okay.

I hope you like your new life as married. I do not understand that you would let daddy arrange this wedding. He is not right in his mind. You do not know this man and his is so much older than you are. It is so unfair.

My life is nearly perfect right now. I have the time of my life with new adventures every day. I am playing every day with my friends and I get some memories for life. The only thing missing here in life now is you my dearest sister.

I want you to separate from this unknown man and come back here to Bangladesh to me. I do not like to be around daddy anymore and it feels like his controlling my life. It is all I want right now. I feel so alone when you are not here. Every night I pray to God for a better future for us both.

I miss you so and I do not know how I am going to live without you anymore. I hope I can see you soon my lovely sister! I promise I will write to you more often!
Love you, your sister Hasina!

English

The English language is a world language. Why is it like this?
England had a lot of colonies around in the whole world and this is one reason why English is such a big language. I also think that the industrial revulsion was a big factor. The USA were one of the winners of World War 2. I also think this has something to do with the English language and that the language went bigger.

Dead Poets Society

Viewpoint 1
I chose the quote "If you never been hated by your child you have never been a parent"
Bette Davis (1908-1961), American actress.

I think this quote says so much of how spoiled some children are. Most children hate their parents if they does not get what they want. I think that if children gets everything they want i think that the parents really have to sharpen up. Every parents need to educate their children to not get every thing they want. Children need to get used to not get everything they want all the time.

Individual and society

-No Man is an Island
-I am a rock
-You`ll never walk alone
I think that the song "You`ll never walk alone" and the poem "No Man is an Island" has the same meaning and message. This song and poem is about that everyone is together and that you will never be alone. It is always someone who will stand by your side even when there is thousands against you. The song "I am a rock" is more about being alone and that no one is there fore you. I think that the person in the song feels sand and that he thinks that no one is there fore him. But that he has to keep it inside him self.
